In my role at KCP, I was able to concept and design our tradeshow for the National Safety Council Expo. Although we had been to this tradeshow many times before, the marketer really wanted to try something a bit different, starting with the theme “The Art of Safety”.
With the theme set, I pulled together a moodboard to present to the decision-makers for the booth, which included our design team leader, marketers, the VP of Marketing. After getting the green-light on a simplified doodle direction, I started the work on the full booth design. It was a fun project that was a little outside of the normal brand guidelines. Pushing the boundaries just enough for a little extra attention, but still reading as KCP at the expo.
